S&P Brasil Ventilação, Ltda

In March 1963, Organização Técnica de Assistência e Manutenção Ltda. was founded in the city of Porto Alegre. The company came to be known by its initials, OTAM, which would later become its registered trademark.

In 1975, OTAM built new facilities in Porto Alegre on land it owned at Avda. Francisco Silvera Bitencourt 1501.

As of 2015, the company has 32,000 m² of land, 5,000 m² of which is used for a production building and 1,600 m² for offices.

In 2011, Soler & Palau acquired all of the shares of OTAM.

In 2012, OTAM Ventiladores Industriais Ltda. changed its name to S&P Brasil Ventilação Ltda. and from that time has marketed its products under the OTAM and S&P brands.
