Soler & Palau Canada, Inc.
In January 2001, Soler & Palau began its foray into the Canadian market in a very limited way due to the difficulties in gaining authorisation to sell European products in North America.
In May 2005, with the acquisition of US firm Breidert Air Products, the time had come to promote the Group’s products on the Canadian market. To do so, Soler & Palau Canada, Inc. was established, with headquarters in a 2,140 m² building (23,000 ft2) at 69 Baywood Road in Toronto, Ontario.
Through 2005, the only S&P fans sold in Canada were the TD and Vent series marketed under the names PVP and PVP inline-SL.
To turn this situation around and offer a wide range of products suited to the Canadian market, the company launched a marketing plan to import, store, promote and distribute fans manufactured by different companies in the Group: Chaysol in Madrid, S&P México, S&P USA in Florida and Kruger fans in Asia through S&P USA.
With this plan, the Group achieved the expected results, as can be seen in the need to expand the company’s facilities. In April 2010, Soler & Palau Canada, Inc. moved to a better location at 5600 Ambler Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, with larger facilities, approximately 5,100 m² (55,000 ft2).
